Abigail vs. Proctor

Abigail is the victim in the situation. She is still a young girl and doesn’t know any better. She was lead on by Proctor. They had a thing and then he just ended it. “Abby you’ll put it out of mind. I’ll not be comin’ for you more.” (Proctor, pg 22 act1) She doesn’t know how to deal with somthing as big as this. She’s obviously never had to deal with this becuase normal teenagers don’t. Now she’s jelouse and wants to get Proctor back from Elizabeth. In her head this all seems reasonable because she deserves Proctor and the only reason she thinks that hes not with her is becuase of Elizabeth. “It’s she put me out, you cannot pretend it were you. I saw your face when she put me out, you loved me then and you do now!” (Abigail, pg 22 act1) So it only makes sense to her that if she were to remove Elizabeth from the situation, then everything would be better and she could have Proctor back. Abigail knows what she wants and is just figuring out ways she can get it. She is an inoccent child.
